BODYWISE RETREATS
Bodywise Retreats are for mothers and their pre-teen (8-13yo) daughters.

They are in 3 stages in recognition of the rite of passage girls go through at puberty and her first period:

Pt 1. THE FOUNDATION: 8-12yo girls + mothers
Pt 2. THE TRANSITION: 10-13yo girls + mothers
Pt 3. THE ARRIVAL: for 10-13yo solo adventure for girls

We honour the transition within your daughter as well as you in each event because as she evolves, so too do we.

Pt 1: The Foundation
This is a gentle introduction around the facts of puberty and periods offered in a ceremonial setting.
The space created is welcoming and safe, drawing upon each mothers wisdom in this phase of her daughter's life whilst allowing space for her own evolution as a woman.

For mothers, it's an opportunity to honour what you experienced and needed at your menarche and to create change for your daughter's experience.

This time gifts us a return to being connected to our bodies, needs and energetic cycles if we have become disconnected from them.
It will deepen bond between mother and daughter through opening the lines of communication and create a space she can come to when she needs support.
(Even if our girls know they can come to us, sometimes experiencing this together deepens this link.)

This is a chance for girls and mothers to:
+ CHANGE THE PUBERTY/PERIOD NARRATIVE
+ ENSURE YOUR DAUGHTER HAS NO SHAME AROUND HER BODY OR PERIOD
+ HONOUR TRANSITIONS IN YOUR LIVES
+ CREATE A CULTURE OF RESPECT AROUND YOUR BODIES AND LIVED EXPERIENCE
+ RECOGNISE CYCLES ARE EVERYWHERE IN NATURE AND OUR LIVES
+ EMPOWER YOURSELF AND YOUR GIRL TO EMBRACE THE WISDOM OF YOUR BODY.
