FOR BOYS AND GIRLS aged 8-12yrs

The life of a tween (ages 8-12) is one filled with dynamic shifts in perception, thinking and understanding. This developmental stage is often overlooked yet is packed with intense emotions, confusion and changes that prepare your child for puberty.

Anxiety is affecting more of our youth than ever before.
Less time in nature, less time to reflect on life experiences and increased screen time create an environment that lacks adequate down time for our kids.

School related anxiety is increasingly common.
This can be due to:
- friendship struggles or changes
- feeling excluded
- academic pressure
- being bullied
- feelings of failure
- not knowing how to ask for help/support

It can be a major as school refusal or manifest in the body like:
* sleep disturbances
* changes in toilet habits
* decreased motivation or focus
* increased irritability
* sore tummy
* sore muscles
* headaches
* Clinginess
* teariness

This workshop will give your child:
+ A factual understanding of school related anxiety
+ How it presents in the body and mind
+ How it can be a useful signal but one they can control
+ How they can befriend it instead of fearing anxiety itself
+ Effective strategies to cope when they're feeling overwhelmed or anxiety is ongoing.
