WARRIOR TEENS
This workshop is based on the Rock and Water concepts.
Through a blend of ceremony, activities based in martial arts philosophy and games
teens will learn skills to help them with:

* Assertiveness
* Self confidence
* Self Advocacy
* Setting, protecting and maintaining boundaries
* Clear communication to build personal safety
* Intuition as a safety tool

This workshop gives boys:
* A space to channel their need for physical play and expression
* Healthy communication and self regulation skills
* Skills to make safe boundaries
* An understanding that their emotions and physical wellbeing are connected
* Healthy ways of letting off steam
* Safe ways to express their vulnerabilities and self advocate
* Greater confidence in expressing their emotions
* Framework for respectful behaviours in friendships and life

This workshop gives girls:
* A framework for self advocacy
* Skills to make safe boundaries

* A pathway for self expression
* Techniques to manage friendship struggles
* An understanding that their emotions and physical wellbeing are connected
* A pathway for authentic self expression
* A safe way to express their vulnerabilities
* Build healthy communication and self regulation skills
* Framework for respectful behaviours in friendships and life


Learn the concepts of how you are made up of ROCK and WATER.
Rock = Strong, reliable, stable but can also be overpowering, inflexible and rigid.
Water = Friendly, co-operative, empathetic but can also be lacking boundaries, unreliable and unable to follow things through.

Utilise these aspects of yourself to find inner balance, self control and harmony.
Learn how to defend yourself calmly, set, maintain and defend your boundaries.
Connect to your intuition as a tool for direction, guidance and safety.
